I’m baaaaack! 

Yes, it’s been a while. A long while. Like, an entire year. But let me tell you, last year was crazy! I found out I was pregnant toward the end of January and had about 5 weeks to enjoy that news before the morning sickness hit. 

And boy, did it hit. I was definitely sick during my first pregnancy, but man, this was a whole new level. I was almost literally bedridden for 3-4 weeks. And while that did get better, I still was sick throughout my entire pregnancy with very little motivation and energy. So the blog suffered greatly, and it’s been on my mind to bring it back from the dead. So here I am, attempting to blog regularly again! 

I say attempting, because now I have a 6 month old and a 4 year old and, whew. It’s a lot. I’m actually sitting here writing this with my eyes half open and my body half-slumped in my chair. Because *exhaustion.*

But this blog is a passion project of mine. And to be totally real with you, I would love to eventually earn a little money from it. Eventually. But overall, it’s just something I want to do. Something that’s mine. Motherhood gives you a whole lot of wonderful experiences and moments, but it does change a lot of what you know and were used to doing when you didn’t have kids. That makes it easy to forget to do what you love and/or want to do. So I’m here. I’m back. Hopefully for the long haul. 

I have a plan, a schedule, all of the good stuff someone needs to re-launch a blog and other social media ventures. I’m doing what I want to do: return to The Puffed Sleeve Chronicles, revitalize it, and share thoughts about reading and books and cozy things as well as share new book releases, contribute to the book blogging community, and just have fun. I hope you’ll join me on this (re-booted) adventure.
